Full bodied origin bean with citrus qualities. Certified organic, handpicked and Rainforest Alliance registered. 

Organic refers to the methods used to grow and harvest a crop. Organic coffee is grown and produced without the aid of artificial chemical substances, such as certain additives, pesticides and herbicides and when considered for organic certification a number of other factors also need to be considered. The fertilizer used must be 100% organic, coffee should be grown on land that has not been exposed to synthetic pesticides or other prohibited substances for approximately 3 years prior, a sufficient buffer should exists between the organic coffee and the closest conventional crop and a sustainable crop rotation plan need to be in place to prevent erosion, the depletion of soil nutrients, and naturally control for pests. Ask for certificates when buying organic coffees to protect yourself and your valued customers as some organic coffee’s are mixed with non-organic coffee’s to reduce the price. Remember; IF ITS NOT 100% ORGANIC IT’S NOT ORGANIC AT ALL.   -  Supplied in 500g and 1kg bag.
